A big thank you to all of our runners who took part in the London Marathon this year. You've raised over £50,000 to help deaf children.

If you were inspired by this year's run and would like to run next year, please sign up here. I’ve added the names of all of those who took part, it would be great if they could give their times and a couple of lines about how they felt the day went, by commenting below.

Not so sure about running the marathon? We have a number of shorter runs that you might want to start with. In London we have the London 10K and the Royal Parks Half Marathon

Other running events include the Adidas Women's 5K Challenge in Liverpool, Birmingham and London. Those looking further afield we have places in the Berlin Marathon and the New York Marathon.

Yeah congrats folks! Hello to all of those of you I introduced myself to, albeit sort of breathlessly, along the way and a giant pat on the back to all of you! Though I can’t walk very well today, I’m still absolutely elated to have finished!

Congratulations to you all! If you feel as good as I do you must feel amazing!! I can walk well enough today but the chafing’s causing a few problems! Perhaps the Ostrich was the culprit!! Seemed a good idea at the time!! It stood the test though and didn’t disintegrate in the vile wet weather!
The crowds were wonderful and sang Happy Birthday choruses as I passed–the big badge worked!
    I finished in 6hrs 57 mins–under 7 hours as I had hoped-Wooo!
No–I would NOT do it again but I am still on a complete “high” to have completed it and got my medal!! Yay!

Well done to the brave who took part and to all at the cheering points. I only remembered the Tower Bridge point so veered to the right to wave as I went past but was still spotted later on when I was really feeling exhausted. I was on the other side of the road in a world of my own yet could still hear you all cheering me on.

My legs don’t work, my toes are sore but can’t wait for next year to do it all again!!

Well, I’m slowly regaining the ability to walk down stairs again! It was a great day. I stunned myself by doing it in less than 4 hours and 20 minutes – even though it was so hard sometimes to mentally persuade yourself to keep going. It was great to have NDCS staff cheering on – and the massage afterwards surely helped me back to a less painful recovery.

Never again! But recommend it anyone looking for that ‘achievement of a lifetime’ feeling!

Hello to all. I would like to thank everyone associated with NDCS for making this possible and for all their unsung efforts. I managed to finish in 3hrs 30mins. I remeber seeing a purple blur on Tower bridge as it was lashing it down when I got there, but I clearly remember the great support near the last few miles, when the going was getting tough. Much appreciated and it definitely helped me achieve my time. Would love to do it all again – who knows!!! Disappointed that I had to miss the reception afterwards, I bet it was great.

Congratulation to everyone on an amazing achievement.

Well i finially feel like I have recovered (apart from one very ugly looking toe nail, I hope the summer sandels arent needed soon), It was such an amazing day, the crowd was fantastic and I would do it again in an instant!! Im not quite sure what to do with myself now I have all this extra time on my hands. I managed to finish in 5 hours and 52 mins – Oh and 1 second!! ;-)
